Enriching Document Structure: HTML, CSS, and XML

HTML is an effective tool for presenting information, but not for structuing it. CSS allows separating structure and presentation issues, but does not address enriching the structure. XML is the latest technology for enriching HTML structure.

Instructor bios:

Tim Bray was the manager of the new OED project, and a founder of Open Text Corporation. He is currently Principal of Textuality, and co-editor of the draft W3C XML and XML-Link specifications.

Lauren Wood is a member of the technical staff at SoftQuad and sits on the W3C HTML Working Group and CSS Workshop Group.
